The bones go and get what the body will not. A skeleton steps out, crosses the kitchen, takes a carton from the fridge and drinks, then the woman is whole again.
The skeleton was puppeteered on set rather than built in CG. DP Jess Hall has written that a real puppeted skeleton moving through the room read as far more convincing, lit by the practical lamps, the television and the streetlight outside, with extra top light added to keep the puppeteer's shadow off the floor. Digital Domain finished the spot.
