I work by not thinking about what does not yet exist. An idea starts simple. Shape it until it stands on its own. Keep what is true & useful.

Experiment with tools, materials & methods. Throw out what does not work. Focus on living in process being as important as some future outcome.

Craft is careful learning of the small things & courage to attack big ones. Push past the edge of what I know. Fear is non-transformational.
