The Power Inside was a six part social film for Intel and Toshiba. Pereira & O'Dell made it, and Will Speck and Josh Gordon directed out of Furlined. Across six episodes an alien race called the Uricks invades Earth disguised as facial hair, and a small group of people has to stop them. Harvey Keitel played O'Mansky, alongside Analeigh Tipton, Craig Roberts, Reid Ewing and Zack Pearlman.
I was creative director on the visual effects at Zoic Studios. DFX supervisor Ryan McDougal and I were on set for the full seven day shoot, working with the directors so the effects would sit inside the live action instead of being bolted on later. Zoic handled the mustache creatures end to end: concept, animation and the final comps.
The film won a Gold Clio in 2014 for Film, Long Form.
