Pepsi built its 2004 campaign around an arena and a squad of footballers defending their Pepsi cans from thieves, with the ball as the only weapon. David Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Raúl, Ronaldinho, Francesco Totti, Fernando Torres and Rafael van der Vaart all appear.
Tarsem directed for @radical media. The unit shot in Medinaceli, in Soria, in July 2003, with costumes by Robert Allsopp, who had dressed Russell Crowe on Gladiator. The spot launched at the Palacio de Gaviria in Madrid on 7 March 2004 and ran in more than sixty countries.
