To show the reach of SBC's telecommunications network, Andrew Douglas directed two spots at Anonymous Content. In this one, SBC's hardware builds and repairs itself with no human involvement at all. Its sibling, "Seed", follows a wire cable born in an underground box as it weaves its way across the country.
I ran Flame on both at Digital Domain. Nearly every shot was treated in some way: layers of CG elements combined with live action, sky replacements throughout, wire removal and monitor replacements.
