Arrival is a 30 second spot for the 2014 Scion FR-S, part of the "Makes Everything Epic" campaign out of Attik San Francisco. The car runs a stretch of winding road and pulls up beside an outdoor cafe. A young couple get out, a large explosion goes off behind them, and they walk on to their friends without once looking back.
Zoic Studios did the visual effects. The car was rebuilt in CG to carry the reflections of the blast, graphics were built in Cinema 4D and the whole thing was composited in Flame. I supervised the visual effects and ran the Flame.
