Rob Cohen's Stealth puts three US Navy pilots in the air alongside EDI, an unmanned fighter that begins making its own decisions. Columbia Pictures released it in North America on 29 July 2005.
Digital Domain carried the aerial work. The studio animated the aircraft to cut together with physical models, wrote its own terrain software, and generated clouds and fire with its proprietary Storm system. Debris from an imploding building, built as a 25 foot miniature, was extended with volumetric simulation. Joel Hynek supervised the visual effects.
