The Hours were Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, both previously in Joe Strummer's Mescaleros. "Big Black Hole" came out on 6 April 2009 on Is Good Records, ahead of their second album See the Light.
Tony Kaye directed the video. Damien Hirst, who made the band's record artwork, art directed it, and Observer Music Monthly ran behind the scenes material on how he painted the piece used in it. I did the Inferno work at Method Studios.
