Water Fleas create gasoline over the course of thousands of years.
The film opens deep in an ancient sea on a single water flea, then runs the slow work of time that turns it into gasoline, and ends on the thought that nothing lasts forever. Hakuhodo in Tokyo wrote it for Toyota's hybrid, and Andrew Douglas directed and shot it out of Anonymous Content.
The visual effects were finished at Digital Domain in Venice. I was DFX supervisor and Flame artist.
