Veronica Guerin was the Irish crime reporter shot dead in 1996 after her reporting on Dublin's drug trade. Joel Schumacher's film, written by Carol Doyle and Mary Agnes Donoghue, puts Cate Blanchett in the title role opposite Gerard McSorley and Ciarán Hinds, with Jerry Bruckheimer producing for Touchstone Pictures.
Brendan Galvin shot it on location in Dublin, Naas and County Wicklow. Credit listings put the visual effects with Mill Film, supervised by Steve Murgatroyd, alongside Asylum.
